Terms and Conditions
Completion of an online email booking confirmation, messenger confirmation through FaceBook, Text message, request in writing or a telephone booking will constitute a legally binding agreement. Once a booking has been confirmed (mostly agreed in person) we will send you an email/personal message through Facebook/text confirmation within two working days. If you do not receive this confirmation within two working days, please call or text Mike on 07835 473225.
METHODS OF PAYMENT
BACS – We prefer payment by Cash or BACS Card Payments – we can take your payment by most debit / credit cards online through our PayPal Account on request, Payment is due once each day/one-off job is completed. Payment in advance is always welcomed. We reserve the right to charge a late payment charge calculated at the rate of 10% per year accruing daily from the date of completion of each day/one-off job and a fixed administration charge of £50 for each letter issued to chase payment. Any special payment arrangements must be agreed in advance of the booking being accepted. Should matters be taken to a small claims court there will be additional costs payable.
Cancellations and delays will only be accepted if made in writing/email/text/messenger message and received at least one day before the start of any scheduled work. Later cancellations
cannot be accepted and the full payment will remain payable. We reserve the right to include more team members to complete the work quick without compromising on our standards of work.
You will be informed at the earliest opportunity if any changes are made and you will be provided with alternatives date and time options. On the rare occasion that our gardener becomes unwell
we will make every effort to reschedule at the earliest opportunity.
Cancellation and/or re-scheduling of any work will be avoided and will only take place once all other options have been considered. We reserve the right to delay work due to adverse weather
conditions. Please advise us if you or anyone in your household is showing symptoms of COVID 19 or you have been identified through the track and trace system. The gardener may delay the work if you or family members are showing any symptoms of the virus to protect them and other team members.
The copyright and all other intellectual property rights in all materials on our website shall remain the sole and exclusive property of Knaresborough Garden Services.
